Chocolate Tasting in Hunter Valley | Visit Cocoa Nib Pokolbin

Tucked among the vines on the grounds of Keith Tulloch Wine, Cocoa Nib’s Pokolbin store is more than a chocolate shop—it’s a place to slow down, savour, and rediscover what chocolate can be.

Whether you're a weekend wanderer, a sweet tooth with a wine glass in hand, or a traveller looking for the perfect edible keepsake, here’s how to make the most of your visit to Cocoa Nib Pokolbin.

 Discover Our Handcrafted Collection

Step inside and you’ll be welcomed by the rich scent of chocolate and the gentle hum of creativity. Our shelves are lined with over 40 small-batch creations—from roasted hazelnut-studded blocks and brittles to our signature hand-painted bonbons, each one crafted with flavor, texture, and colour in mind.

Every chocolate is made right here in our Hunter Valley kitchen using ethically sourced Weiss couverture, known for its elegance and depth. Our knowledgeable team is always nearby to guide you toward something special—whether you're after something bold, fruity, creamy or surprising.

Seasonal Treats, Plated Desserts & More

Cocoa Nib Pokolbin is one of the few places where you can enjoy a plated dessert featuring our house-made chocolate in a relaxed, sit-down setting. Inspired by the seasons and made fresh from our kitchen, these desserts are layered, elegant, and often feature limited-edition flavors or ingredients found right here in the valley.

It’s a perfect stop after a tasting next door or a sweet interlude in your day of exploring.
